This is where the Houstoun Gate Locomotive Works started. Its a video of the Houstoun Gate Light Railway's rebuilt Mamod. Although the staff of the HGLW have many many years of engineering experience beyond this humble start.
Exciting News - We are in the process of creating a railbus in a similar vein to the much loved but long discontinued Locomotion range

Corona Virus Update - January 2021
We've just had some rather sad news from the Scottish government in that Scotland goes back into full Corona Virus lockdown.
This may well impact the business as I need to return to only posting out orders when doing essential shopping trips.
This could also impact deliveries of raw materials in, but I will keep running as long as I can. I'll do my best to keep things turning over here in the locoworks.
Currently orders are taking up to 4 weeks to despatch (March 2021 Update)
Thank you for your continued support and understanding
